Guest EGOXRT Guests Posted 03/02/09 12:51 PM Share Posted 03/02/09 12:51 PM Better get your mate to ring them.I think if it has generics it will be fine, as it will be vin locked once he uploads the tunes.Like I said ealier their wording leaves a lot to be desired, so to be safe call them. So, if you CURRENTLY own and use an XCal1 unit then you are fine and have nothing to be concerned about. Nothing has changed for you at all, you have lost nothing... As long as your unit has already been tuned to your car, you are fine. We are supporting currently tuned XCal1 units. This being said, all new tune sales from here on will need to be done on the X3 (if your chosen tuner doesn’t have any stock of the other units), as again, components are no longer available to repair the XCal1 or add future years to them. The Team @ Herrod Motorsport & SCTCorrect me if I'm wrong, but this reads, your x-cal 1 box will work fine, but you can no longer tune your x-cal1 connected to your car, you can only update them however??? update what??? but if you want a tune (tune sale) you have to buy a x-cal 3??? it's all in the wording, sounds like they still have you by the danglies.
