lets see the offer they come up with...... I think its too litte too late but hey I could be wrong.

and yes they have taken a step toward the right direction... but its still wrong and not rteally good enough

.... the boxes should be phased out 1 by one as they reach their limit of 5 lives

if the only option is an "upgrade" to an xcal3 for a fee..... im only willing to pay $300 maximum WITH my existing custom tunes changed over to the xcal3 box.

if they cant do that, they can jam their company up their own ass forever.

I still think they should just persue CAPA and sue them for losses, and not punish the customer for Capa's problems... re-start the software as it was with some new lockdown features as to resetting boxes. that's all that needs to be done, simple as hell but no they want to persue this never ending totally wrong sh*tfight with the consumer!

SCT open your eyes.

me personally .idont think capa is to be blamed.they still have a heap of xcal1 and 2 in stock.

who has all the new xcal3 stock?

I think its more on the lines that the xcal1 can be cracked.and it can be cracked in a legal way.

and sct are over a barrel and they no this and the only way to stop it is to axe xcal1.

as far as im concernedi will be going sniper .and I will be keeping my xcal1

The tunes are the same regardless of xcal1/2/3, the only difference is the flashing device you plug into the car, but also that all depends on what model car you have which dictates which flashing device you need.

Why does everyone think capa is to blame for this? Ahh, must be because the OTHERS are saying their to blame...

A little biased are we phil? Since when was there rules to say that you couldn't use a Xcal1/2/3 on a BA/BF/FG? I know the tunes are the same, but they all use the same OBDII plug...

I just want a definitive answer to what is actually happening as a xcal1 owner. I for 1 will not be buying another sct product as its a good bet this will happen again. Sniper for me.
