What's The Difference Between Blueprint And Shockwave?

Um the colour.

cheers ENVY-T, good point, but to the untrained eye like mine having never owned an XR before they do look very similar in photographs although if parked along side each other in real life there would be obvious contrast between the Blue colours, do any other manufacturers have as many different blues in two model runs (BA,BF)?

The Envy green on the series II XR's looks fantastic.

Having checked out carsales.com for Blueprint XR's there are a number of them quoted as being blueprint which are the darker Shockwave colour, I guess it does not really matter unless buying touch up paint in which case the paint code will tell you which paint to buy, they all look good.......have you ever seen an ugly XR? I haven't!

shockwave peels off in sheets on some of the cars due to some primer problem.

SubJimbo, the car in your avatar photo looks darker than blueprint or were you just saying that you prefer blueprint over shockwave?

Neo will always get more looks than the other common as muck garden variety "blues". :pooh:

neo is just a wanna be velocity, and we all know that is the best blue.. hence its status as a "hero colour" :nyaah:

Your kidding arnt you. The shockwave on the right does not look anyhing like the blueprint on the left. A closer colour that ppl more often get confused with bluprint is in fact Neo.

I.B.

You're kidding aren't you? The one of the right is a mk I, and shockwave is a mk ii onwards color....
