ok so here is my delema, I want my dash to have a nice colour and not the faded look but I hate when I goes all shiny and reflects on the windscreen. what are my options?

Put some black felt on it. :stirthepot: They do that with rally cars so they dont get the reflection of the dash on the windscreen. Might get a little hot though.

To be honest I dont think there is much you could do. Have a really clean windscreen to the reflection is not quite as bad?

Dude - you can get some cleaner stuff called "back to black" or something like that...

Its actually a white liquid that will bring back the black/grey in the dash... Once its been on for a few mins wipe over it with a damp cloth and this should get rid of a lot of the 'shiny' appearance, yet leaving it darker in colour...

I would try it on the inside of say your glove box first to see if you like the effect... It will be a little different on the dash, but at least you will get some idea...

I think its a Mothers product, but there is others as well from Megs, Auto Glem etc...

I actulually have this in my garage, but havent tried wiping it with a wet cloth, thanks smicky

yeah I hate the reflection too, up until now to avoid this , I have been simply using a damp cotton cloth

will give it a go today, after I install my new turbo to my ute!!!! :useless:
