Only running 225's? I run 245's with no clearance issues at all!

But, 22's on the front can be done 'apparently' but would cost ALOT of money to do so, hence no one doing it!

I rkn its possible seing as most guys fit 245x35 size tyre on there 20's, a 25% profile tyre on 22's would be close to the same rollin diameter I think

Depending on the width of the tire as that's what the percentage relates to. My 245/35 r20 front has roughly the same sidewall height as the 295/25 r22 rear. The height difference though is still about almost two inches.

With the right offset you should be able to fit a 22 rear with a low profile narrow tire without any modification.
