Hi Guys,

I'm new here...looking to purchase an XR6T later in the year some time. Just wanting to know, has anyone managed to successfully fit a set of 22" rims to a BA XR6T? If so, can I see some pics?

Thanks,

Nuri

I think a couple of people have - but only on the back. Don't think anyone has managed to squeeze them under the front. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

Have a look at this one

that orange one looks hot. I seen another one with 22's on the rear and 20's on the front...but haven't seen any with 22's all round which is why I asked. I guess 22's on the rear and 20's on the front will still look alright.

Judging by how restricted the 20's are on the front in regards to clearance (ie only running 225 tyres) I don't think you'd get 22's under there without leaving the standard springs in and having your car look like a 4wd

well there goes that idea. You'd think that in this day and age, you'd be able to fit 22's on a ford seeing as you can do it on new holdens...lol. 19's are too small for this car.

20's on the front still look big, its only on the rear that 19's and 20's look smallish

Yeah I'll probably end up doing the same as that other guy...22" on the rear, 20" on the front. It actually looks good. Are there any other mods needed besides rolling the guards to fit the 22's under the guards?
