Hi Guys,

Well in June my care will be out of warranty and will be closing the 100,000km mark.

Just wondering if it would be a good idea to go to the FG?

I mean like what else besides new pipe work and a different turbo has it got.

Is the BF MkII a better building block?

And does BF mods like Front Mount I/C, Injectors etc all fit on the FG if coming from a BF.

Thanks.

G6ET was enough to make me turn my back on a Calais V - and I'm a lifelong Expensive Daewoo man.

But I mean going from a BF to a FG, if I put all the same mods on a FG as a BF and tune what would be putting more at the treads?

Im guessing the FG, But want to know if anyone go evidence of this :P

But they do look sexy inside :)

It depends on how far you want to go mate, if you are aiming at 300rwkw then I think the FG will get there easier and be more responsive, plus they handle better, have better build quality, newer technology etc etc

the new turbs have a smaller housing, but are more responsive - most tuners have been guessing 350rwkw to be max before you have to upgrade

Senna the bloody new car salesman.

I would love to see that turbo push 350rwkw.

Dont get me wrong, the FG is a nice packet and with the prices getting cheaper they are now even better.

What'd you expect? Don't know of anyone really pushing the FG turbos yet - but I'm pretty sure most tuners reckon its out of puff then
