yeah but a sv6 isnt even in the same league as a xr6t - if ya wanna compare relative prices its gotta be on a ss and from what I have seen most dealers can get pretty close to the ss price anyway

but why should it matter if you want to buy a ford then you look at ford prices not Expensive Daewoo prices

its like going down the shop to buy coke and coming back with LA ice cola cos it was cheaper

lmao that's true.... my dad's mate got a brand new 08 VE Senator for $53, 000 <<< now that is  cheap as hell!!! another mate got a new SV6 for $21,000... all I can say is pick up your game Ford lol

If you follow the news, that's because Expensive Daewoo is in dire financial trouble, thanks largely to GM in the US. In a recent industry study, of the local manufacturers Expensive Daewoo is the worst off, and would be forst to go if things get too much worse. However, being a satelite division of GM, it is likely to be sold off before it is closed.

Anywho, this is why Expensive Daewoo are thumping out deals left and right.

That and the fact they have over 20,000 unsold cars sitting around gathering dust. They are prepared to give them away for whatever they can get cause they are that desperate. Just watch their resale values go down the toilet, they are already getting lower than the Falcons. At least Ford have gotten rid of most of their unsold stock and aren't resorting to fire sales, therefor protecting their resale values, which have been picking up a bit. People complain enough about Falcons resale, at least they are taking steps to protect it, which will help them in the long run.

Holdens fire sale will bite them on the arse sooner or later when the fleets turn away from them due to the rock bottom resale values.

Ford are running a deal at the moment for employees that allows them to give close to employee pricing to 2 people they know, so if you know someone who works at Ford get onto them. Its valid until the end of June. G6E Turbos for 42k.

Really @ Venom XR6? That's pretty cool.. anyone know an employee in VIC or SA looking to do this offer for me? Willing to slip them some dough on the side.. ha ha ha (honestly though.. let me know. .ANY state is fine, as long as it's not overpriced to ship to NT).

I'm looking to buy an XR6 turbo, probably brand new, looking for an octane, manual with premium sound and tech pack, reverse senors can be optional depending on the price.

Anyone know any good dealers willing to drop to what some claim above? Nige and nglencoem both claim around the $43k mark.. is this true?
