these babys cant be driven with out TUNING as soon as injectors r installed so usually the price is for intall and tune at the same time mate

serch the forum there is heaps of info on this. bottom line is unless u wanna damage stuff I.e Cat convertor the tuner has to install then when tuning is done, sucks I know but not much u can do unless u fit them and get it towed tl tuner! as a guide at my work, if I was to fit a set of injectors to a ba ford (or any falcon for that matter) just for fitting we would charge between 1 and 1.5 hrs labour- I recon 1 hr labour is fair that equals 96 buks :)

Hey mate,

I believe that some injectors just plug in... The Dekka's are supposed to do that.

I have had the same thoughts as you - Install the injectors and then drive it over to be tuned.

Although, I think the install cost couldn't really set you back any more than about $100 right? 1hr labour to do it?

So it may not be worth the hassle of putting them in yourself. I'm sure someone else will be able to clear this right up for you though.

if its only hundred bucks or so ill just pay somebody to fit them

cheers guys all I was thinking is that with the Flash tuner 2 you can set injector size I would have thought although not perfect it would have been good enough to drive a km off boost that's all

yeah the good old days senna 80 bucks here too. 130 sounds like a good deal, my injectors with 2 guys working on it took 20 mins to install. they were so confident that the second guy strapped the car to the dyno while the first worked on getting the x over pipes off.

pretty sure that any sort of after market injectors that are put into your car it will not run, it will kick and splutter then die out till tuned correctly.

Cost me $100 for install and then custom tune done straight after it.

Yeh think mine only cost around $80 to have installed.

Nifty - I never like to be the bearer of bad news but you could got your injectors much cheaper if you shopped around and if they are Seimens dude.
