You save a bit on the tickets and also get to go in a hour earlier and stay later. This was the case a few years ago.I have heard several people mention that it is the best way to see DL.The rest I have NFI about.

It was expensive but if you can afford it, I'd say it's not something you'd regret. The photos from the chopper are absolutely insane and he couldn't stop raving about it.The other was he went up to the top of the Rockerfeller Centre and said it was only like $20 and well worth the cash. Stay away from the Holiday Inns around Hollywood they have become over priced sh!tholes. San Diego, just down the road is fantastic as is NY.Mate its a great place and the people are fantastic, especially New York. LA has just gone to the pack in the last 5 years. If your staying in LA itself.. around the Beverley Hills / Hollywood area you will be able to see most of the major stuff then can take a trip down to Santa Monica beach if that tickles your fancy. Last time I was there I stayed in Beverly hills in a 4 star place and it was reasonably priced at about 150US a night (obviously the dollar blows now so it would be more). If you just there for Disney Land definitely stay in Anaheim (there are heaps of hotels/motels close by at good rates) as it will take you 45-1hr depending on traffic from downtown LA to Anaheim ... Anaheim is basically being an outer suburb of LA and there is sweet FA there besides Disney Land As other guys have said LA has turned pretty seedy recently (if it wasn't bad enough already lol, stick to the main streets and you'll be fine .. have a great time im going back at the end of the year!
