Funny how these cars are really sooo good stock, yet the owners after just a few days of ownership will always feel their potential and suss out the performance mods which are considered 'must do' these days for the turbo 6 cyl fords. With anything more than an air filter change on these cars, you will need to dyno tune (usually referred to as a custom tune on here) with a flash box which is the Capa flash card you speak of I think; it is essentially a small box that you plug into the ECU to load on the desired tune (very very easy really). The xforce exhaust seems to be a safe bet; many of the guys on here run the system with no complaints so that seems like a winner; the cooler upgrade you are considering will definitely help on the hot days to keep her running consistent in traffic etc and keep in mind it should flow considerably better than the stock cooler meaning you can run a bit more boost safely on a good custom tune. Result being more power/torque.I would honestly expect from those 2 mods alone you would be looking close to 280rwkw and if you have a bf I would recommend putting some higher rated injectors in for starters to get it up to 300rwkw territory and ask your tuner of choice on what else they recommend if the budget allows..Best thing is you really can not go wrong with these cars; everything helps and almost everything is noticeable and worthwhile.Good luck and check out the forums in detail; heaps of info floating around.PS: Is yours BA BF FG, Auto or Manual? I was gonna get a typhoon, but couldnt justify the extra $$$ over a good modded xr6t....when I asked my tuner what sort of power I could easily get from a phoon, was told all I need would be a flash box and custom tune $1000.00- say hello to 330rwkw- and easy 12 sec 1/4 mile. awesome- go for it!
