Any aftermarket intercooler will restrict the air flow to the radiator more than the stock unit. However, as dragr32 has provided us with more info, he has plans for some mods.BS.what lead you to this assumption?There are aftermarket coolers that flow MORE air to the rad than the stock Bar and Plate.. Plazmaman Tube and Fin for example. I have used both on the circuit, and water temps with the Plazmaman cooler are colder than stock after a couple of laps. Still, I think the main stress when you are towing is the gearbox. Having the gearbox cooler intergrated into the raidiator personally whouldnt have been my pick, I would have gone for a stand alone cooler.
