Dont bother with an intercooler, that will do nothing to aid your towing. However, a good quality trans cooler would be a good idea, which you say you already have. Not too sure about having them inbuilt into the radiator. A stand alone external would be the go.

If you're after an intercooler then you can't really go wrong with either of Nizpro, Plasmaman, Rapid or Process West unit. They all seem to return good results.

Rapid seems to be the best bang for buck around here.

Is it an R32 drag car?

yes 32 gtst drag car

when changing radiator I did a full service on the trans & switched the oil to penrite sin auto fluid (fully sinthetic )and the shift is 100% firmer even just in drive.

done the radiator / transcooler for towing but am looking for an intercooler before I get a tune will also do cat/dump section before tune aswell.

looks like any of the namebrand coolers will be fine.

thanks for the info Jason

heres a pic of the other toy aswell

From the information provided in the original post dragr32 I have taken it from the point of view that he is looking for an intercooler to aid his towing, in which any aftermarket cooler will not provide. Any aftermarket intercooler will restrict the air flow to the radiator more than the stock unit. However, as dragr32 has provided us with more info, he has plans for some mods.
