So I've been reading about dodgy Ford dealerships not servicing cars correctly, not following procedures, lying, voiding not Warranty claims etc.

My question is, could we see a list of reputable, recommended and liked Ford dealers for servicing?

Not only that, other garages or mechanics that are great at what they do and don't bulls**t to you.

It would be great for everyone to see a list of recommended garages - Would be great to see ones that are lenient on warranty claims too.

Instead of seeing the negatives, lets see some positives.

Basic layout something like this:

Garage / Dealer name:

Address:

Why they're so good:

Who's first to fire away?

Ideally, this thread should be leaning more towards letting the good/reputable workshops be known so that others don't have to have bad experiences. Everyone loves a great experience so why not share it with others?

It's said that if someone experiences bad customer service, they will tell 10 people.

However, if they receive great customer service, they'll only tell 2.

So why not let that 2nd person be me :spoton: jokes! It'd be good to help your fellow forum members know who you recommend.

NOTE:

Guys, if you're going to advertise yourselves/family/friends, contact forum admin/mods to organise your site sponsorship.

Why they're so good: Ive never had to make a booking, Do everything Ford can and cant do and for half the cost.

Who's first to fire away? Me but I dont know what the mods are going to think of this unpaid advertising

:stupid:

Garage / Dealer name: Alan Mance Holden.

Address: Bacchus Marsh.

Why they're so good:

Had a strange knock in the front end turned out to be a smashed bearing race in the shock tower after the knobs that lowered my car just jammed it back in without telling me, had it in for service yesterday and the lads replaced it under warranty even though it shouldnt have been covered seeing it was lowered.

At risk of bending rules...

Dealer: Peter Warren Smithfield (not my workshop - not my dealership, just under the same umbrella)

Address: Cnr Warren Rd & Sturt St, Smithfield, NSW

Why they are so good: Never had an issue booking someone in, always get the job done and they actually hold customer service in high regard!

Being associated with the group obviously I don't pay th egoing rate, however I have never heard a complaint about the cost of the work - probably because they do everything you ask them to, so its worth the dollars

Garage / Dealer name: Alto Ford

Address: 2 Chandos St, St Leonards

Why they're so good: been there with 3 cars and still have nothing bad to say about them. fixed warranty problems without complaint and the car always feels better after they have had a fiddle
