Leaving tomorrow night with some friends and heading up to the gold coast,should I take pacific or new england highway.I usually take pacific.I have contacted ford to let them know what my plans are,had them fax me a list of all there dealers up the coast,so I know were they all are just in case I need them.Is there any section of the highway patrolled more or any spots that you may know of where they sit.So the good news is you wont have to see any of my sh*t posts for 10 days,hope I'm not missed that much,take care talk to you all when I get back.Cheers Nick

ha ha 10 whole days!!! mate suprised you havent gotten yourself a wireless broadband connection for the trip!!!

and as for highway patrol... well we all sent the highway patrol units from here to there faxes with the ford dealers list, pics of you and your car... so your screwed they are on the look out for you!!!

I hated the New England Highway on the way to Tamworth.. You go from 110km/h to 50km/h as you pass through at least 10 towns.. Hella annoying!

Just remember the point to point speed cameras on the F3 Nick, it times how long it takes you between the two cameras, so you don't want to speed in between them

These had been under trial for a long time, so I asked recently if they were still being used and the reply I got was "no". And I dont beleive the F3 ever had a Point to Point camera, it was much further North.

And driving at 10 over is a fair guide, unless its pissing down in a school zone.

Pretty sure the Point to Point was on the F3 near Mt White - if they aren't using it anymore then great

yeh I thought it was the two cams headin north just before the weigh station

any way watch the other bloody 10-15 on the pac hwy worst spots for police seems to north of port maquarie and the coffs area

uhf channel 29 is the go

I can see the confusion, there is no Point to Point on the F3 and never was. One camera is the normal flash for cash and the other one is a rain sensing camera for the change in speed zones for the hilly bit for when it rains.
