Brian,

Yes CHE is castle hill exhaust but we are chainging names at the moment :) we have been beta tesing the ford VCM software since Dec last year, so far all results have been very promising.

peak boost is the same around 3500rpm and 13psi but after that there was some adjustments done to the boost with boost now holding 11psi not dropping back to 9psi like the previous tune

from memory on the same boost it went 284rwkw.

I didnt tune the SCT box, they were done somewhere else in sydney..

I have attached a sheet with boost on it, ill post a compare between the 2 on monday and one with the boost at the same levels.

Can you switch between VCM tune and SCT flash tune? eg have my car tuned by a tuner then change it to one I like in my flash box from a previous tuner

are you able to use the SCT tool (used to load the tunes onto the sct box) to put a tune on an SCT box that was made with VCM suite?

would be handy to be able to use an existing xcal 2 box to change between some custom tunes made with VCM Suite.

The file formats would be different between the software types, so 1 programme would not accept the other file format

The only way you could do it would be have tour car tuned by VCM suite, then get a new flash tuner, when the flash tuner is plugged into the car, the VCM tune would be saved as the factory tune,

You could then get SCT tunes into the other slots.

Doing it this way will only ever keep the 1 VCM tune in your box and it will not be able to be edited. You would also loose your factory tune

No it is not live tuning.

It has been reported that they are working on live tuning, but at this stage the ford ECU does not enable live tuning.

It would be good if they can get live tuning, but I believe there would extra hardware to get it to operate, like they do with EFI live and the moates roadrunner system.

Maybe Greg could give us a time frame if the thinks it can be done.
