Ive just fitted some new tyres to my 'T'.

I went for the TOYO TEO PLUS

They are not a ''sports'' tyre BUT, gee they hang on well and very quiet ( because they are not directional tyres I guess ) and at $180 a tyre, pretty good value.

I suppose the real test will be once the 'T' is upt to approx 280kw's - will they still hang on.

Not sure about the milage but I have spoke to guys with different cars and they are getting pretty good numbers - time will tell I guess.

Any body with any first hand experiance with these tyres out there ???

Cheers Again Dave g

I got a few people into the Toyo Proxes 4's. Anyone with well over 300rwkw will find they hold 2nd gear very well, whereas most tyres I've tried will spin when boost hits. Toyo have stepped up a few notches in the past few years :spoton:

Have you had a chance to drive with them in the wet yet?? Would be good to see how they hold out then :)

George

No I havnt tried in the rain yet. But im told that they have very good wet weather grip, time will tell.

So far so good though.

I was initially going for the proxes 4's but the tyrepower guy talked me out of it, he said for the extra money you spend on the proxes 4 I was better off with the cheaper non directional Teo Plus and will more than likely get more milage too, they are also a lot quieter road tyre( I must say they are a lot quieter than the old intensa tyres I had )

Again, time will tell.

Get the 4's dude. I got them and in my manual with this tune it holds really well. Haydn got some too and they hold up 2nd really well in his car too.

PM me if you wanna know where to get a good price on em

Yeah the Proxes 4 are the best tyre I have tried and I probably won't change to anything else with the price I am getting them at. For the street you can't go wrong the these tyres :wasklywabbit:

I had Toyo Proxes T1-R's (275/35-20's) on the back of my F6 and they were very impressive given the job they had of trying to hold over 500rwkw's towards the end of their life........... very predictable tyres, loved them.
