I'd do it just to be safe - I'm sure if you call your local they'll be able to tell you exactly what they do.

Mine is due for 3K service but I've been told not to bother as they don't do anything.

Apparently they jack it up, check to see if anything has fallen off underneath then let it down and give it back. Have you heard any different?

Do yourself a favour and turn off the computer and jack up your car and have a look yourself. I noticed a small oil leak that they fixed during the service. Sure they would have done it anyway, but this way it ends up on the service report. Ammo if something sh*ts itself.

At the 3000km service they replace the body control mod. So take both your keys down and get your service.

Then tell that clown who told you not to get the service to pull his head in.
