I've got King Low's in the front of mine, I'd have to check the exact part number for you - but personally I'd like it sit about 1 inch lower

In the back I've got SSL's (again I'd have to check the part number). I did have SSL's compress 2" but that was toooo low and I got defected for it, and blew out both my rear CV boots = (

I think SSL's compressed 1 inch would sit perfectly. I have 20's on my car with 245/30 tyres (making them same as standard rolling diameter) and they never scrubbed out even with the 2" compressed SSL's.

Here with 2" compressed SSL's

Damn, that does sit low in the rear.

Even the front looks pretty low to me, although I know some, including yourself, think it might not be low enough.

It's all personal preference which is why I'd like to see something in the flesh.

Thanks, Paul.

Hey Graham,

The part number you listed for the front springs are the "low" spring in the King Springs catalogue. The Superlow (SL) part number is KFFL-57SL.

Better check which one you're getting.

I finally saw a car yesterday that had SL/SSL springs fitted and it sat pretty nicely, I think that's the way I'll go to.

Paul.

I am still yet to finf some1 with the SL's in both front and back!! I have noticed that's there is a fair difference in height with the Sl/SSL combo. I tink SSL both ends would be too low for practical everyday driving (my driveway is a 4wd track) thus being why I wanna see some one who has SL's f & b..

Can any1 help me?

I have the SL/SSL combo on my F6 with 19's and if I had my time again I would have put SSL's all round. Just sits a bit to high in the front for me. But with the SSL's all round it might not sit even.

ive just had this prob with the sl/ssl sh*t

so after stacks of reserch the kffl-57 are nearly the same as whats in the xr series anyway so that's not the ones to get its the kffl-57sl is the ones that will drop it 20mm from what u have now on the xr series and the ssl on rear will match within 5-10mm at worst

gday lads, for what its worth for handling on the B series touch more height ie. 10mm in the front over rear is good. This effectively reduces the "weight" in the front end as the longer spring gives a higher effective spring rate, which means the car will resist understeer more.

I have played around with my height adjustable coilovers and found this and also know of a serious circuit XR6T in QLD (the best set up XR6T I know of) that also runs 15mm more height in the front. A nose down posture really hurts turn in and increases understeer.

now aesthetics are another matter of couse..........
