Expensive to buy, expensive to keep (like to eat!).You MUST keep them occupied - ours ripped through the security screen door at both doors (laundry and back door) to our backyard. Then some pr*ck stole him :(Yup, came into our backyard and took him away. He was only 12 weeks old.

I hope they just stole him to sell rather than because of the noise. Neither possibility warms my heart though

Buf-Phoon loitering with intent Lifetime Members 13,318 Member For: 21y 4m 7d Gender: Male Location: Zombie Birdhouse Posted 14/01/09 11:38 AM Share Posted 14/01/09 11:38 AM this post is slightly off topic , but I hope there is some poetic justice out there.I had just arrived back at my folks place ( 15 acres at Cooroibah outside of Tewantin in Qld) after taking my kids shopping, when I saw this dog and thought fark that's a Dingo pup. Turned out it was probably a red cattle dog cross with either a Dingo or Kelpie.Anyway a beautiful bitch, but a bit nervous and cowed. After a little coaxing it came to me and it was obviously someone elses dog as it had a flea collar and was recently bathed. However over the coming half hour it fixated in a friendly way to the whole family particularly the kids.I suggested to the old man to take it around surrounding properties to seen who owned it. Bad luck it would seem had a strike at the first stop. The owner then proceeded to punch and kick the sh*t out of the dog for running away in front of a stranger. My dad told the bloke that is no way to treat an animal as it wouldn't know what it's being flogged for. Response to the old man was to fark off or he will get the same. No thanks for bringing his dog back.Big bloke approx mid twenties.2 Days later mum and dad are watching TV downstairs when there is a face at the window. Dog basher is there. The old man goes outside and the bloke has done a runner. WTF.Next day the bloke is lurking around the boundary fence. The old boy asks him wtf as to why he's behaving like a thief in the night.Says his dog has escaped and done a runner, what a suprise! He obviously thought my folks had abducted said dog. Wish they had,a beautiful, but abused animal would have been well looked after and would have been a true family member. My folks have had dogs their whole lives, labradors, spoodles, Jack Russels, German Sheperds etcI just hope that the animal hasn't been run over or similar. Might be a blessing rather than suffering at the hands of that arse wipe.Kent is lucky it wasn't me taking his dog home.I would have done to him what he did to that puppy.Big man beating the sh*t out of a defenceless animal. A real hardman. Threatening a 75 year old bloke just confirms his toughness. As a dog lover it made my blood boil, never hit a dog or child in my life, there's no need. Muscleing up on my dad who weighs about65kgs was not on imo, but he has to live there and wouldn't let me say or do sh*t. Which was probably just as well.
