Ghosti NOT THERE!... THERE! Member 852 Member For: 16y 8m 3d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 13/01/09 12:00 AM Share Posted 13/01/09 12:00 AM (edited) Mate, my gf was a vet nurse for the past 3-4 years and she has always said that Mal's are a gorgeous breed and while they can be a little "silly" sometimes (running around you alot and making lots of noise, etc) the good points farrrr outweigh the bad.I really want a dog that is going to challenge me and make me exercise more,As long as you make the effort to train him/her well, I guarantee you'll enjoy walking them so much that you'll almost want to go out for a stroll more than they do.We used to have big problems with our Bull Arab/Wolfhound cross being a disobedient pain in the ass whilst walking (she's well trained, just chose not to listen under some specific circumstances) so we decided we needed another big dog. Adopted a 6yo male Doberman as a companion for her about a week ago and it's like a light switch went off in her head. Make no mistake, I am a lazy, lazy bastard. but walking the hounds is now so relaxed and enjoyable that me and the mrs. have started doing it every morning and night, about a 30minute round trip. Good luck with it. Fun times ahead Edited 13/01/09 12:00 AM by Ghosti
