Rootster Just a large member member Silver Donating Members 3,125 Member For: 16y 6m 3d Gender: Male Location: sydney Posted 09/01/09 05:10 AM Author Share Posted 09/01/09 05:10 AM so I thought I would take it to ford and show them, they dropped the oil, changed the filter and asked them to open the filter up.So dick head cuts it with a hack saw, filter internals covered in metal,It,s hard to tell thought I saw some small pieces of copper,small pieces are alloy not from cutting the filter as the magnet wont pick them up.Have taken the oil home will check it when it cools down.Ford gave me some good news I have an engine oil sump leak so it needs to be removed,gives me a good chance to see whats in the bottom of the sump.Diffs leaking as well,My car is the biggest piece of sh*t put on 4 wheels,its going to get nasty with ford I can feel it.I'm not a bad bloke but there getting me close to loosing it,and fark they don't know what there in for.I have kept a log with all the problems and I wont just roll away.So all I hope for is to get to qld and back in my car,so I will relax enjoy my time up there and get ready for war when I return.Cheers Nick Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/53251-engine-problem/#findComment-799266 Share on other sites More sharing options...
