The change in rods was a rolling change. I don't think you would get one that has been sitting around for 3 years, dealers don't carry short motors in stock, they get one sent from the plant. Mine ran 300 rwkw for over a year and I gave it a hard time (at the track of course). When you start pushing up over 340 rwkw then you are playing russian roulette!!But then in saying that, I know of a few that have lasted a number of years running in the high 300 rwkw range but then these guys are not very heavy on the loud pedal.
