From what I thought Ba mk1 rods... weak as

Ba mk2 rods....were slightly upgraded stronger lpg rods

Bf mk2 rods...typhoon bottom end

No. BA MKII rods are the same as BAI. Only post 06/06 BF's got the LPG/F6 rods.

And the F6/LPG rods are the only difference in the Typhoon bottom end, so all post 06/06 BF's have the same bottom end as the Typhoon.

The atomic short motor retails at a bit over $6K but that includes acl bearings, mains girdle, rods and pistons

f6 short 370rwkws atomic 1050kw version would be virtually bulletproof.that's provided there tuned and fuelled correctly.looking at the atomic website today and I see it says you must have an andra approved harmonic balancer to run 11.99 or better.ive never heard of it.has anyone run an 11 and been told to upgrade?

Is anyone running the LPG bottom end with the turbo head?

I realise the pistons aren't dished like the turbo ones (raising comp.) but is there any other differences?

What sort of results are ppl getting with the LPG bottom end when running eflex or e85 (99.9% of the time)?

Are the motors going to be less efficient with the different pistons?
