Just saw this new direct intercooler replacement from PWR at Summernats. Had a bit of a talk to the rep and he explained that it flowed 20% more and I think he said price was around $700. It looks to be almost the same size as the standard unit to me, maybe a little thicker.

Hey Benny,

I seen the intercooler as well at summernats the rep said to me it was exactly the same size just a little thicker but I was told around $900 seems a little steep for something the same size just shiny. I think ill be waiting for process wests intercooler upgrade looks alot bigger than the pwr one.

Thanks Paul. Wasn't sure if anyone else had seen it yet.

Silverflash, yeah I wasn't quite sure of the price, so much noise going on outside the tent when he told me. I'll be looking for something a bit bigger rather than a simple same size replacement. Still would be interested on the performance and gains.

The PWR cores are quite good, so you aren't going to be paying good money for a cheap core, I think this would be a good upgrade for people sticking with just a tune and cat replacement to provide some consistency with their power.
