Has anyone seen any comparitive figures between a G6ET running on 98 Premium versus 91 unleaded.

I know for the purists you would never consider running on 91 RON but Ford do state that it will run on 91 RON.

BUT in saying that they do their performance figures running 98 RON.

Just wondering what the loos of KWs would be on 91 RON.

Ford quote on 95 for the turbo engines as its the recommended fuel, just like the quote on 91 for the base engines. Expensive Daewoo quote their figures on 98 which they state in their ads in the small print at the bottom.

they all seem to run fine enough on 91 - its all they leave the plant with. That said its 98 or nothin with mine

Of course Ford put the cheapest fuel in it, they wouldn't spend extra to put better fuel in it. They won't even supply you with a quarter of a tank when you get it.

a) Most of the 270 motor equipped cars now are making between 230-240rwkw iirc.

b) Pretty sure someone cracked a 12.89 in a stock G6E-T not long ago, not sure on MPH though...

Either way you look at it, alot of signs point to the cars having more power than Ford claims - not that that is a bad thing!

270 = 230 to 240 rwkw that's a big call, try a "accurate" dyno if its more than 220atw I will be surprised
