What, you expect him to sell his T just to buy the a cosworth BDA? only really rich people are stupid enough to buy them!

although if you are interested in a BDA motor, I can get you a contact in england who build competition spec motors ready to go, they start at $35,000. add shipping, insurance and import taxes before it is even fitted.

did I mention BDA race motor? :stupid:

you can get decent turnkey yb rebuilt motors landed in oz for around 8-10k, that was before the dollar crashed, just keep your eye on ebay.co.uk, user TG91 has some pearlers come up every now and again. keeps it all ford rather than sticking a jap motor in it, not that there is anything wrong with that either, no of couple of blokes running them near me and they are tuff as nails.

but to start with I`d just enjoy the webbers, love the noise when you get on the loud pedal

I dont think Rob is keen to get this car going next week somehow, im sure he'll put some feelers out, prolly start on the body prep, and if he hears a Cossie engine up for grabs somewhere quite cheap, his ears will *beep* up and he will consider it.

Much like im sure he'd consider a XR6T engine, or even a 289........

I dont think he wants a race YB BDA engine in it somehow for next weeks WSID street meet.........
