senna I wouldn't bother with the garage hey, my mates and I had the huge white marque in the staging lanes it didn't cost any extra to get the area jus had to pay for the marque. and its was secure and you were always first to line up for al the events.

ohh and senna my nugget made it back to newy without breaking yay!!

Lol, well done dat dat! Did you manage to find out why the fire started?

The garage is good because you can just drive straight out on to the track whenever you want in the cruise sessions. I think they are about $210 for the weekend, so if you get a couple of people to gether it isn't very expensive.

Thanks dat, the marshalls didnt think that it was a smart idea but I had my arm band off before I even done it. A 4 car garage is 1000 bucks for the weekend or you can get a carport for 250 bucks and you can get out on every cruise.

Good weekend hey lads. I saw most of you guys out there. Didn't see dat04l at all, but now I realise why! Bad luck mate.

Had a few good cruising sessions - except lining up on Sat arvo for close to two hours in that heat was starting to wear a bit thin!

Did anyone buy that CD of photos they were selling out there? Every time I went to see if they got any shots of my car there was a stack of people there looking.

Would love to see if they caught any action shots from on the track.

Check out www.hpheaven.com.au for pics on the event. Also the dyno figures are on that site.

Did anyone else go on the dyno? Mine made 283rwkw....not sure on the dyno variances in shootout mode, at C&V it made 314rwkw (not hp). Why the big difference do you think? Either way the car feels quick and is pretty quick compared to what was out there. Blew away heaps of cars :)

PS 130kmh limit on the track.....haha, who actually stuck to that down the front straight.

In the cruise saturday afternoon I felt down on power and the BOV wasn't making the usual sound, after the cruise I pulled up and checked the motor. The hose clamp connecting to the throttle body had busted leaking boost all over the place! But it still had enough to keep up with heaps of cars out there. I think it was making the turbo spin up pretty hard though because the cold side of the intercooler was real hot. It's only a Monza but after all other sessions it was still cool, hence why I think the turbo was working overtime with the hose clamp off.

Lol at the 130km/h limit, I think I hit 200km/h at least once in every cruise session!

Gotta say I was happy with the RAP1D cooler on my car, the engine temp barely climbed to half at any point during the day so air flow is still great through the massive core. Also the power was super consistent all weekend.

Thanks xr_v. They only got two shots of my car and neither was particularly exciting. Oh well... There is quite a few shots of your car however and I spotted most of the other guys in there too.

The speed limit was a bit of a joke. Like those two barriers on the straight with the 80km/h signs on them. I don't think I saw one single person obey them.

I think the speed limit is more for liability purposes, they told us to do 130 its our fault if someting happens above it
