The turbos go through absolute hell and if they are not rebuilt properly they will cause you headaches in the long run. A second hand turbo is a good option if you are not looking to keep the car for a long time.Mine was rebuilt about 40K ago and when we installed the extractors last month and inspected it the wheels and bearings where in excellent condition.
