I have a process West plennum I dont know what its max HP would be, I am running 500rwhp.There is only a small handful of people on this forum that have gone to that sort of level! In a capri that thing will hammer down the quarter! What time do you hope for?

Posted 04/01/09 12:48 PM Share Posted 04/01/09 12:48 PM Without sounding like a Nizpro stooge here but the only plenum on the market that is PROVEN to flow 1000hp which is close to your 800rwhp is the Nizpro plenum. I'm not saying that it is the best one for your application, I honestly would imagine that a custom job fit for EXACTLY your application would be best but outside of that if you aren't interested in doing the R&D involved and only looking for 'an off the shelf item' then I would think that the Nizpro plenum would be your best bet.I would think (actually hope) that all of the plenum's on the market are derived specifically for a street or actual use application. This is a scenario that you aren't after as it is a drag car first and foremost. So low down response, fuel economy etc wouldn't come in to it... I dont expect to be changing the plenum so I have no doubt it will manage the power without problems. This was on a T51R running about 25-27 PSI. The rev limit of the engine (about 6200rpm) was the limiting factor. This should be fixed shortly as well

I will test a new version soon.Nitto is laggier down low, but looks like it could have very good top end capability.Plazmaman looks to be slightly larger in volume than Nizpro. YLD-11Z (with his ETM manifold and GT45R turbo) is running a Plazmanan plenum and wants to push around 800rwhp (600rwkw). You could try pm'ing him about his current test results. Process West looks to be around the same size as Nizpro. You could pm Process West (Kevin) regarding any big hp cars using his plenum, and there are quite a few guys running his plenum with 350-400rwkw.Brian
