The flap u can get from any MTQ @ $90 and yes u can use a die grinder and go slow as I did on my own turbo but slow is the key word, one big slip and its stuffed

New rear housings from fraud are ~$900 so have a think about it as some places charge $900 drive in out to have the whole job done !!

Well one monkey only a few months ago told a very highly regarded professional that all he was going to do was take a few mm out the stock port and use the stock flap still

It didnt work correctly

End ....

If your standard flapper has not pitting on the outside edge it will seal fine.

Don't you feel like a flog when you speak without all the correct info....don't have that problem myself so cant sympathise with people:)

the stock flap can be kept

but only if you want to do half a job and have a restrictive exhaust system to help keep boost levels under control

No I will be doing it properly. I just wasn't sure if a new seat is required for the larger flap. But now from my understanding is the larger flap allows the hole to be larger as the seat extend a fair way out
