Do you not rotate your tyres?

only fronts to back after the rears are worn out if that makes sense.

I find with the ute and its live rear end the tread wear is perfect on the rear and the fronts should make is to 25 thou before moving to the back

I got told by a service tech once, to rotate the tyres front to rear on an XR every 5000kms.

He said it was due to the nature of the suspension setup.

I've been doing it ever since and it seems to be giving me perfect wear front and back.

Mind you, my rear tyres don't do as many revolutions as some would think either.
