Donating Members 2,852 Member For: 17y 1m 24d Gender: Male Location: Vic Somewhere - Sometimes NSW Posted 13/01/09 08:48 AM Author Share Posted 13/01/09 08:48 AM guys, looks like the tyres are faulty... took the car to a kumho dealer today and he says its definitely not normal!however kumho want me to buy two new ones and send back the faulty ones, so they can inspect them, once confirmed faulty they will then send 2 new ones...hhhmm not really happy about that, so waiting to hear back from my preferred dealer (who supplied and fitted the tyres) to advise what to do...Will keep you all updated...not good business practice, or customer service for warranty... guess we'll see what happens... If it was not an obvious fault, and Kumho had not already been emailed and sent pictures also I would be singing a different tune... and its not like the tyres have done many k's or been on for a long time... 3 1/2 months, and about 3,000 km's... anyways... I have not asked for a refund either, just a new set of tyres "if in the event they were found to be faulty" which the dealer has said they are...Anyways, not a huge issue, will see what my preferred tyre supplier says and then go from there... need to replace the rears soon anyways so good excuse to do it a bit earlier I guess, just would have liked to stretch it out a little longer!
