(im a qualified mechanic and didnt tell them what I found). they checked the car and told me that the clutch was dragging and fitted a new discharge pipe. tell me, how dumb do they think people are.still down on boost, I removed all piping and replaced hose clamps with wider narva/norma clamps. fixed boost issues but didnt tell ford. I also found oil in piping from turbo which ford said was acceptable. what a joke.I spoke to the dealership and told them to stop bullsh*ttn to me and that im a mechanic.it went back to ford at 1800km for the qld area manager to check oil from turbo and to talk to me so I wouldnt go to consumer affairs.I demanded a new turbo and new piping but fell on deaf ears.2600km, oil leaking from turbo more, new clutch fitted to fix surging issues (ha ha), boost sensor fitted and upgraded hoses, delivered back to me with a grinding imput shaft bearing (they forgot to put oil in gearbox when replacing the clutch).it took 1 1/2 months to get a new gearbox from melb after I busted the dealership tried to fit a reco box.3200km oil pissn from turbo into intake, then they finally replaced the turbomoral of the story, do the work yourself and only use ford warranty if you have to, its not worth the paper its written on Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/52957-xr6-turbo-intercooler-anomally/page/2/#findComment-1021342 Share on other sites

Thank god you knew your stuff man. I'd have been lost. What I have learnt over the few years I've been delaing with them is unless its broke, and you can see that's it's broke (whatever that may be) they will not replace it. That goes for diff bushes, piping, window winders, anything. Its quite poor really.Glad you have it sorted though.
