Mine had a fu*k all crack in it which only leaked when it got hot. I was reading up on this and it's a common problem (and have been checking my coolant ever since). Quote:"We had 03 BA XR6Turbo same transmission problem. Problem caused by faulty brazing where the transmission oil cooler pipe runs thru bottom of radiator. Lousy brazing fails (because the brazing slag was not removed when made). When engine running - high transmission oil pressure forces transmission oil in to radiator - when engine switched off - residual water pressure in radiator forces water in to transmission oil line. This causes rubber hoses in water system to soften and blow out.
