for those with iPhones and touch ipods there is an application you can download that uses the motion sensor and gps to track your cars drag times anywhere you drive, etc 0-100kph, 1/8 mile 1/4 mile and so on. I had a go at using one in my FG turbo ute and did 4.82 seconds 0-100 time and with the weight included it indicated a power figure of 276kw, my car is stock standard and as stoked as I am with that time (quicker than a db9, m3 and w427 according to WHEELS magazine) is it consistant to other turbo falcons and has anyone else used this "toy", its a very cool thing to have, as is an xr6 turbo.

Mate, that is hellishly hard to read. It's kinda funny that the only capitals you used was the iPhone and WHEELS. Goes to show the marketing is working.

Capitals are the difference between "I had to help my uncle Jack off a horse." and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse".

BTW, no I haven't used one, and I agree with the above that 4.8x sounds too quick for a stock xr6t. Is the 276kw meant to be fwkw or rwkw?

Cheers

Mate, that is hellishly hard to read.

Almost as hard as trying to workout what someones saying when they don't use the quote tags and add the post to the bottom of theirs, for no reason... :stupid:

:stupid:

There's no way in can calculate power...

If the vehicle was small it could go just as fast using less power than a heavier vehicle would.

The app is a waste of money.
