Hi all

I recently picked up my BA MKII XR6T, im not hungry for the 300rwkw. What do I need to reach that? This is what I think (I might be wrong)

- Larger injectors (60lb siemens)

- Aftermarket FMIC (which is best?)

- Exhaust upgrade (will taking centre muffler out suffice?)

- Custom Flash tune

- was also looking at the 20% underdrive (will I need it?)

This is just what ive picked by searching forums etc. What do think I could get out of this setup? Hopefully ill be close

All input appreciated

Cheers Frank

G'Day mate, you're on the right track there!

You will need better Valve Springs, so budget around $8-900 for those, and you will have to change the cat also. Depending on you rbudget your car can get to 300rwkw really easily, or it can get there pushing certain parts to the limit.

Firstly you need to establish what your budget is, if its really tight, you shouldn't be modding - it just costs more and more!

Best way to go would be Injectors, Valve springs, Rapid Systems Intake and Cooler, bigger cat and removed center muffler. If you have a manual, you will need a better clutch. If you have an auto, the tuner you choose will have alot to do with the longevity of your box

For a little extra peace of mind, you should also consider a fuel pump.

Stocker fuel pumps have been known to make 300 but some also dont.

They are pretty cheap anyways so add that to your list.
