Hi Guys,

Was driving my car the other day around and she wasnt feeling as go'ee.

My boost guage was telling me I had less boost and the speedo looked like it was frozen in time.

I cleaned the air pod out and put it back in, no difference.

Now I have had an issue with my car with the noise of Tffffttt Tfffffft Tffffffttt when ya giving it that sounds like there's a noise coming from the manifold or atleast from the right hand side.. Can hear it still when just cruising up to the speed!

Ford informed me there where no noises...

So last night a bit the lip and went in my mates XR6T and no noises from his!

So we grabbed the GTECH from my mates a QRT Miled my car..

15.20 seconds!!! I was as you imagined angry.. We came back in the driveway and popped the bonnet and the manifold's were glowing BRIGHT RED! *Seen at night*

Now I've been told that most turbo cars do this but should of mine been doing this?

Basically im asking, what possible causes could extra second be coming from.

This noise, defiantly manifold?

And loss of boost, where from?

Ok the mods is basically a CAI and really just a CAPA tune of 10psi that was only ran for a few days then back to the economy tune.

The car was really lumpy if ya let it idle and just listen ya can hear a little lumpiness nothing totally noticeable.

Im going to take around to my mates place tomorrow and get them to have a full look over.

Also ring up Ford on Saturday to see if can take in if mates cant find the problem.

Still has 6mnths Warranty.

Its a BF MkII; Typhoon Freak.

I'll check all the pipes tomorrow I hope it's as simple as it sounds.

Hope I haven't forked anything.

Is there any point to upgrade these pipes I heard from a mate these tend to do this a bit ey?

Just upgrade the wire hose clamps to T-bolt clamps and you will be fine

Had a look over and everything looked fine.

The cold side of the Throttle Body looked like it was of a bit I undid and pushed on and straightened up the clamp and tightened it up but still doing.

I think ill let the guys at Ford do it so they can tighten the Manifold bolts up as they should of before.

And plus a few other things that a playing funny buggers.

It should be all covered under warranty ey'?

Anyone know for sure this should be covered under warranty or done for free if its the Manifold and I/C piping lose?
