F6T Member 93 Member For: 17y 17d Gender: Male Location: Tasmania Posted 02/08/09 10:54 AM Share Posted 02/08/09 10:54 AM g'day mate - check my recent post in the other thread. there are no knocks, vibrations or fitting issues with the system at all. hot or cold. hot the tail pipes appear to grow a 1/2 further out or so but she is a beaut system. Like I've already said, there is a bit of boom on cold start up that disappears once it warms up. when warm you get a tiny bit of it on slow loads like taking off in 1st and 2nd but it completely disappears as well as soon as you get up over 1300rpm. these are really minor guys. They system has really won me over and I love it the more and more I drive it. cruising along, running downhill, you wouldn't even know you had a 4" system on there. Power comes on hard and fast - there's hardly any restriction. You've gotta hear the thing at full voice though.spine tingling stuff. looks great from the rear end too with the big dual pipes side by side, staggered slightly to marry up with the bout of the rear bumper.I was supposed to get some footage done today but it was crap weather again in tassie today right up until about an hour before dark but I had to wash the car and by the time I did that we'd run out of daylight....I will start a new thread soon with full pics and clips though. Is it a revolutionary design that nobody else has ever done? Easy to fit? Excellent value? Locally manufactured? Better sound than anything else?Apologies for the ignorant question...but just can't understand what all the fuss is about? :smilelove:
F6T Member 93 Member For: 17y 17d Gender: Male Location: Tasmania Posted 02/08/09 11:45 AM Share Posted 02/08/09 11:45 AM sorry howsee, but all weekend it has rained for 30 mins then stopped for 2 hours then rain again, windy on saturday. jusdt no good for getting some film. we tried but aborted...tab, only time will tell if these things are everything they are cracked up to be. but on the face of it, to date they are producing some pretty awesome gains, they seem very well engineered and capable of BIG power (600rwkw). v-band joins make fitting and removal much easier (easy removal for those that want to drop it off for the drags). super high flowing with very little back pressure making for quicker spoolup and easier on the valve springs. and for a full 4" system, they are not that loud, don't drone at highway cruising speeds, sound incredible at WOT and they do pretty well in the looks department too in full stainless steel high polish- don't think any would disagree there.and for $2,200 fitted, not bad value in my book. (they were designed and engineered here in Aus but built in China I understand)

I have been waiting for ages for this system, before they even started r and d on it. Its been a long wait for alot of others too so just wanting to find out others opinions who have already had the system fitted. No fuss just anxious to get it done in 3 weeks time. It ticks all your suggested boxes too especially for the xr6t market except for locally manufactured. Thanks for the reply F6T and glad to hear your pretty happy as you sound like a fussy fella like myself. Will be keeping eye open for your further reports and pics.Matty.
