It can vary alot mate, some people may be quoting you a closed respray - where they just paint the outside, no door jams, no under bonnet etc. If you get a quote like that, the next bloke might quote you on a full in and out job and he'll be alot more expensive - this might loose the bloke business just because he's doing a proper job rather than a half assed one.

Important thing is to be clear in what you want, then shop around a bit. PM onboost, he just did MRDOSE's car and should be able to give you an idea on cost too.

In that case you might find its only around $2-3 grand. If I were you though I'd pay a bit more to get extra coats of both the colour and clear, make it worth while!

full outside resprays will vary a lot as well, anywhere from 3k up, colour makes a difference in price as well, and brand of paint used, also keep in mind that any repairs that might need to be done, including scrathes, and stone chips will add to the total cost e.t.c. when it comes to getting your car painted make sure the shop is using a high quality paint like ppg, or spies hecker, as the finish will be much better and it will outlast any of the cheaper brands that most smaller panel shops use... set yourself a budget and go from there. even though it may not seem it, there is a fair bit of work involved in gettin a car prepped for a repaint, so make sure you choose a shop that will do the job properly, so look for someone who does higher end work, and has a "recommoended repairer" status from one or a few good manufacturers, as these shops have more to lose if they don't do a good job. as for price, its hard to say without seeing the car but expect to pay upwards of 4k for a good quality job. if you have any other questions, shoot me a pm and I will help where I can...

Cheers, Chris
