Thanks for the feedback guys.

The windows are tinted... factory Ford I believe.

Looks like I will just have to put up with it like everyone else.

Im not really keen on running an external aerial, the only way it MAY look ok would be to use one of the small mobile phone ones attached to the back window, even then it still may look a bit like poo.

Cheers,

Chad.

I have the RTV and have crap FM reception if phone charger is pluged in or my AM antenas are pluged in,

The round plugs on the windows are the AM antenas if I wan better reception I unplug them.

I don't like any AM stations so I don't really care, and you can just plug them back in if need be.

Good Luck

My FG ute is about as good as my old BA ute which is pretty shocking. I travel north and south of sydney and FM is okay but as I am in my twilight years (47) like to listen to a bit of talkback on the AM dial and that is absolutely useless as soon as I head up the expressway (worse north of sydney than south) So I have to either listen to some dumb fxxxk like Kyle on FM or turn off the radio and talk to myself.

Im keen to see the results, will be trying it myself when I get back in my ute over the weekend.

Cheers,

Chad.

Mine is pretty terrible. Only suggestions I got from my local installer was a shark fin or going back to an in-guard antenna ie old 90s cars. Guess I'll just have to deal with it cos' both those options suck.
