millers Member 113 Member For: 16y 10m 26d Posted 20/12/08 11:04 PM Share Posted 20/12/08 11:04 PM whats the normal way to go about repairing something like this on the cheap?would the auto box need a rebuild/replacement? how would you go about flushing the engine out to make sure there is no auto trans fluid still sitting in the engine?is it worth getting and after market radiator and trans cooler or should the stock one going back in handle it fine (for a stock car, just has a high flow cat but will probably get a tune before long)?is it worth getting a 2nd hand box or better off doing a rebuild?a mate had this happen recently and gets told a different thing by every 'mechanic' he talks to. as far as I know the car wont start and idle atm either.
