The tyre is still useable for a standard drive if/when you have troubles with another of your tyres.

I think I going to take the majority advice and order a new tyre... damn those 19" tyres are expensive!!!!

I've had a tyre punctured and repaired recently. I've got a shiny new spare in the boot which probably has 0k on it. The others are ~15K of easy (relative to most other forum members) driving and look to be in good nick and have plenty of tread left.My poor brain seems to think I should fit it to the rear, cause you wouldn't want the front wriggling. But then maybe more grip should always go on the front. Buggered if I know if ABS is per wheel or not...So, the question is if I change the spare to replace the plugged one, should I fit it to the rear or the front?Cheersws

Generally your better rubber should go on the front.I.B.
