It`s not really rough. It is in one section, fairly steep and winding.

Up hill traffic must yield to down hill traffic.

This but one section of the propsed route though.

With radio contact between cars, a safe distance observed and care taken it should be okay.

I`ve driven and ridden this section of road a few times, at various speeds and even at night.

It is NOT a race track suited to 1800 kg cars, frankly.

It is quite an interesting area, quite unexpected terrain and climate. In the dead of a drought it remains very green.

There`s some points of interest to observe, I`d wager atleast some who attend on the day will vow to return.

:spoton:

The section is probably about 8km in length, but the scenery before, during and after is quite spectacular. So in a nutshell have a teaspoon of cement or stay home

And the best part of it is heavy vehicles, trailers and caravans are forbidden...if only there were more roads like that around!

KILLARNEY CRUISE

SUNDAY 11 JANUARY 2009

and if there are any hazards I’ll be the first one to find them!

Looks like it will be a very slow cruise if Grandma is in front!

Ignore that fool above, he lures you in with a false sense of humour and then absolutely gobsmacks you with a massive dose of stupidity!

Take my car of the list tento. I've been secretly planning upgrades over the past few weeks, orderd a V2 kit from chris before christmas and was ment to be here today or tomorrow. had the ute booked in on thursday for a tune. About to go and pick my ute up from the exhaust shop where I've had a high-flow cat and centre muffler removal done. Somewhere along the line someone chris uses for parts of his cooler kits still isn't open and wont be till thursday which rules out the tune and so on.

I knew it was gonna be a push because of the time of year. Pretty disappointed but oh well, nothing I can do,
