I was wondering if me and mum do get a ford hard top cover for dad what the hell do we fill the holes in the side of the tub with that used to have the tonnue tie downs in them from the factory they have littke color coded plugs can you buy them any one ?? :huh:

The caps are abut $2each retail, but I got mine for like $1.50 each. Then had to get em painted cause they're black standard.

Be very carefull when ahving the tiedowns removed. If the black bit grabs while drilling out the rivet, then you can get paintburn from the spinning. Have seen the result of this.

Also, be prepared for a slight dent or marking where the tiedown was, as they are fitted in the factory by machine, while the paint is still "green" (not fully dry).

Nothing you can do about this......

Waiting for my new lid and spoiler. Been on order for 3 weeks so far, and only just get advise that they are doing another run and will still be about 2 weeks to go....

The Plugs Come Black You Will Need To Get Them painted . Cost $ 1.27 ea . When Drilling Out Tonneau Buttons Hold Button With Milti Grips To Stop Button Spinning. There Will Be A Mark Left In Paint As Barra Said. Had Mine For 6Weeks Now Looks Great But Lock Are A Bit Of a Pain .
