hey guys

I have a little problem with my xr6T.. It started acting up today sounding different not hearing it spool up as much and the stock BOV making a very loud whoosh noise (not the normal sound it makes this was different)? only time it would go above 2-3 psi was in 2nd gear which it hit 4psi then bounced and surged between 3-4psi? if this is not just a simple boost leak what else could this be???

thanks for your help

Check all your piping and vacuum hoses, had the same problem n found out it had boost leaks all over the place, a few new hose clamps and problem solved

Check all your crossover pipes are connected properly and make sure you thoroughly check the joiner from crossover to throttlebody.

Heard a few cases where they have little splits that leak like hell.

New silicon joiner will fix that if its the problem.

Nice one - good to hear it was not anything more sinister.

Make sure you get a good quality aftermarket silicon joiner on there and you will not have to worry about the problem again!

Cheers
