I was thiniking some 265's would help the look and then you "could" put spacers in to move them out but that raises a whole bunch of issues.the problem with this is that I dont reallly want more rear grip - I like the skitishness it has atm - so I am thinking some wider but cheaper tyres - I have seen 265 on the 18" rims and they look OK and I better decide soon as I got 25k on the clock and the rear tread is quite low. Once I do mine I'll post some pics

I'm not sure what offset is needed for the rear, possibly +40 for 9.5 inch rims, but the standard offset is +36.Benny

qikshift Member 518 Member For: 18y 5d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne, Victoria Posted 22/12/08 01:24 PM Share Posted 22/12/08 01:24 PM (edited) You will want more than less than +40 to fill the rear I think as I have +38 with a 9.5(with 275/30 rubber) in the rear of my BA ute and there is still about 6mm between my tyre and guard. Are FG's actually more flared in the rears (they do look it.)maybe keep the 40 offset at get 10inchs wide in the rear Edited 22/12/08 01:25 PM by qikshift
