Tocchi Sandtrap Motorsport Donating Members 2,055 Member For: 16y 27d Gender: Male Location: Perth Posted 15/12/08 07:09 AM Share Posted 15/12/08 07:09 AM I had epic clutch failure yesterday arvo, the FG had to coast down my street into my drivewaybasically went for a coastal drive (averaging 15kmh to 50kmh for about an hour), then parked up in Hillarys for 2hrs.upon leaving Hillarys I noticed the clutch was slipping - I thought it might be a heat issue (37 degree day)but driving on the freeway (6th gear, 95kmh) it was flaring to 5000rpm upon the slightest touch of the throttle (and even the cruise control buttons) ... and white smoke was billowing out :(so im waiting for the tilt tray to arrive at my house (after Ford sent a Roadside assistance car to tell me that my clutch is f*cked, and then they sent a tow-van (like WTF?) and it couldnt tow my car, so im waiting for a tilt tray now)its going to the nearest Ford dealership (cos its a free tow lol), that being Titan Ford.warranty time... the car has done only 11,000km :( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They used to be the place to go for warranty as they let modded vehicles slide through...
