clean the terminals with a wire brush or a file.

But it does sound like the battery is flat, or has dropped a cell.

Most chargers are trickle chargers so it'll take atleast 12 hours to charge a car battery.. Jumper leads will tell the story pretty quickly..

My battery went a month or so ago, car was 1 day out of warranty so it lasted 3 years which is alright. I had just driven from Albury to Sydney, stopping once at Yass to fill up then when I got to Sydney I stopped at Maccas and it just died, didn't play up or give any indication it was dying prior to that at all.....I could have been stuck at Yass for awhile so I was lucky it didn't die there...

Yeh the battery is nackered, it just died really quickly which has never happened to me that's all. I'm used to having notice with old cars! The worst thing was it had to happen when I was stuffing around, so I thought I done something. Lol. Thanks anyways everyone.
