Mounted mine in the same place, see the bottom photo on rapids website- http://www.rapidsystems.com.au/index.php?p=1_36. I have serious alternator whine after the relocation though and cant isolate it (Premium sound)! double earths etc it is crazy bad, tried running power through the centre tunnel away from all electricals but no good, think of the noise you get through the aux socket and times it by 10...

Will have to get an auto elec to look at it but I dont suppose a suppressor would work either?

Good luck with it though

hi bjc, did you run your cable througth the cabin? I ran mine straight from the starter motor along the chasse rail and into the tray in corragated conduit and have very little alternator wine a tiny bit when the ac is on but no where near unbarable. I hope this helps

cheers joel

You use the " Taxi driver got mugged " release wire that is along the centre of the underside of the boot. Accessed by putting one of the back seats down and reaching in.

:beerchug: yeh it happend to me.. took the battery out and realised that the boot wasnt open.. its along the top of the boot. just gotta crawl into the boot a lil.. umm it took me about 2 hours, just had to figure out how to run the wires thru into the cabin.. and my mate was already there with the tools to do the soldering of the wires..
